Happy Love Day!

Hi There!
Today is Valentine’s Day, a day largely celebrated as the day of showing love to your spouse, significant other, or people you love. Huh, shouldn’t this love be shown every day?? But, I digress!
Anyway when you tell your love “Happy Valentine’s Day” do you know the history behind it?? Many people have no clue where it started, why it started, who started it, or how it was started.
So in order to give you a little peek into the depths of the “Holiday Of Love” I decided to help you by giving you a pretty informative link!
Click HERE for the History of Valentine’s Day! There is also some video you may want to look at HERE. Stay informed, Enjoy!!

You’re right Regina, we just blindly follow a lot of these traditions without really knowing their history. I don’t really know a lot about the history of Valentine’s Day. I’m going to go over and check it out. Thanks 😀

Good job Regina; Most people don’t know how very much Christainity has been laced with pagan traditions and ritual.Emperor Constantine took the things of God and intertwined them with the pagan rites of the people he conquored. Sort of likes politics today, you know – let’s keep everyone happy.Anyway, thanks for pointing out that St. Valentine was real, and cupid was not. :O
