What a great, historic day for America and especially for African-Americans. We have come so far and now the most visible representative of power in the entire world is a Black man. What an inspiration for our youth, and also affirmation that while racism exists, not everybody is a racist and with hard word and perserverance, you can overcome anything. Go Obama!!!

As a Christian I can truly say that I do not care what the person looks like that is in office- be that person male or female. If that persons final authority is Jesus Christ…and He is Lord of their life it will go good for our nation. We need a person who is unwilling to bend his knee except to God. And who will not stand for any principles other than those set in the Bible.I think it is great that in our nation color nor gender is an issue. And now color and gender aside…we will see what will happen. This road would have been a rough one for whomever had won.And as Obama said in his speech…May God bless America.

It’s truly been a long time coming BUT change has come. History will judge this man and his legacy but for me…It’s a done deal. Go Obama/Biden 2008!

Incredibly beautiful…just beautiful. All I keep seeing is this beautiful family walking into the White House, closing the door, and calling it home. Just incredible.

Hoping that this great man, this powerful speaker, can help lead the most powerful nation in the world toward a better tomorrow. He was honest about the fact that it will be difficult to accomplish his goals in one term, and said it would be an uphill battle. He also said that we can do it together, as a nation, and as hardworking people who care about our future and our children future.
