Welcome To The White House Mr. President!

Welcome to the White House Mr. President!
Today marks such a momentous day in history! Today an African-American male of mixed lineage was sworn in as the President of the United States.
Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States. For the first time in the history of the United States a man that is not of the Caucasian persuasion will hold the highest political office in this country.
A man who had his lineage questioned, his citizenship questioned, his integrity questioned, as well as his loyalties questioned has stepped into the position of Commander and Chief.
A country with a questionable background which includes racism, segregation, and prejudice has now spoken up for change. A change that will be noted in history books from now until the end of times. A change for a country that is on the brink of destruction or restoration.
A change that is much needed.

I pray that President Barack Obama’s hand is guided by God and that he and his family are protected and blessed as according to God’s word.

God Bless America!
God Bless The Obamas!
God Bless Us All!

It is great to savor the moment, but with the recognition that Satan departs only for a season and will return at a more opportune time. But I am presently rejoicing.

Definitely an exciting day. As I was watching today I was thinking that Obama will be the first president that Hailey will remember. An example of how have come so far.

Take responsibility for our situation and make it better.I invite your blog readers to smile at this photo of Barack Obama tearing up some fried fish in much the same way we hope he will tear up our current recession.peace, Villager

It was such a wonderful service. I’m not surprised though that the media is picking at him for the flub in the speech today… I knew they’d try to pick something to fuss about. Too bad for them though he’s still the most charismatic president to date. 🙂

It’s still sinking in for me. I’m elated and excited for both Barack and the four AA females on the world stage that will now project positive images of AA women worldwide.

I have to say that I am happy already for the unity that this change has made. I too pray that hand of God will be on the president and his family. I pray this will be the beginning of great things for our nation.
