We The People… Have The Right To What??

Today, Thursday September 17, 2009 is Constitution Day!
How many of you know what is actually in the Constitution other than “We The People”!

It starts out with…
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

But what comes after that?
People know that they can plead the 5th. They also know that they have the right to bare arms, but do you know all of your other rights. And do you know the proper context of these rights?
You may want to do a little homework and find out EXACTLY what the Constitution of the United States really says.

    You are right, most people do not remember the words of the Constitution. I had to think about it myself and know that I could only recite about half of what you wrote. Time for me to do some 'homework.'

    Just a quick note. I won't comment on everything, just 2. Wouldn't you think that the first ammendment protected prayer in schools, not eliminate it. Secondly, isn't it interesting that the 13th amendment took almost 100 years to be recognized, let alone carried out. What am I saying? Our law makers, not just your average Joe needs to take another serious look at this thing.
