Family Updates!!

It has been almost a month since I have updated this blog. I know you missed me!! I also know that you are all just sitting on the edge of your seats wondering, thinking, dying to know what has been going on with me and the family! We of course have had some good times and some bad times but God has seen us through them all! So here is an overview of what has gone on in the past month in Regina’s Family Seasons!
First Up!
My son Military Man had a brief leave from Iraq! We had not seen him since November 2009 so this was an awesome time for the family.
He got to see his first nephew, who is now 8 months old for the first time!He also got to see his sister who he has not seen in almost 2 years( since we left Rochester NY)! The kids all had a ball together. But my head hurt for days since I had forgotten how EXTREMELY LOUD my children are when they are all together! My kids and their cousins spent some quality time together just hanging out. They also spent some time AND money in the tattoo parlor!

While on leave my son got to spend some much needed quality time with his daughter (my little Princess!). The little Princess is as beautiful and cheesy as ever!
They had a great time in Syracuse NY visiting his father’s family. His father’s family had not seen him since he was about 2 years old so that was a great reconnection. While in Syracuse he got to see his half-brothers and half sister and introduce them to the Little Princess!

Next Up!
My middle daughter ~AKA~ The Rebel had her pinning ceremony. She has successfully completed all of the required course work for her Medical Assisting Diploma! Yaaayyyy! Her class is the first Medical Assisting class from the Kaplan Arlington Campus!

Next Up!
My mom had a major health emergency which involved her blood pressure and her breathing. She went to the emergency room with shortness of breath and found that her blood pressure was through the roof. She was consequently admitted to the hospital where she spent about 11 days getting various test, giving tubes of blood, getting a multitude of shots and taking a truck load of pills. She was tested for blood disease, congenital heart disease, she had an EKG, and every other kind of test they could think of. All of this resulted in them finding a clot on her lung (which could have been fatal if it traveled to her brain). She was given shots and pills to dissolve the clot and was finally sent home with a suitcase full of pills to take regularly. All in all God was working overtime on her behalf because He is not through with her on Earth yet!…OR Heaven just isn’t ready for her!
Next Up (Honorable mention)!
One of my childcare parents locked her baby in the car when picking him up from my house. She was freaking out, I called 911 and they got to us in about 3 minutes! The A/C in the car was on and the firemen got the car open in about 5 minutes so the baby was fine. I didn’t take any pictures because Mom felt dumb enough so I took a break on the picture taking!

OK! I think you are all successfully caught up on my family happenings!!
All this reminds me that tomorrow is NOT promised so enjoy your loved ones now while you have time!
God is good ALL the time even in the midst of tragedy!
Peace & Love!
